The thermal deposit of Dobrinishte is located east of the town in the valley of The Dobrinishka River. The thermal area is a narrow strip approximately 1.2 km long. There are 17 springs in the deposit. The water is a thermal (38.4 - 43.5 degrees Celsius), slightly mineralized, alkaline by reaction, hydrocarbon-sodium in composition, odorless and sediment-free. According to Kluff's qualification, mineral water qualifies as "very soft". Balneologically, water has a beneficial effect on: chronic and articular rheumatism, inflammatory diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system, genealogical diseases, chronic skin diseases, chronic diseases of the stomach and intestines.
The mineral water is used through baths and drinking - by medical prescription. In 1963 the town was declared a balneal resort. The public bath was built in 1934 on the project of architect Barov. Meanwhile, the municipality was ruled by The IMRO – Bulgarian National Movement with the mayor Toma Munin. The bath had a female and male pool and private baths. The second floor had a hair salon. On the back of the bath there was a public laundry, which was free of charge.
