The town has been famous for its curative mineral springs since ancient times. Several mineral water basins have been discovered, one of which is the "Rimskoto Banche" (discovered in March, 1966) – representing a circle with a diameter of 2 meters. It is built of stone seats on the bottom, its walls are made of stone bonded with mortar.
The thermal deposit of Dobrinishte is located east of the town in the valley of The Dobrinishka River. The thermal area is a narrow strip approximately 1.2 km long. There are 17 springs in the deposit. The water is a thermal (38.4 - 43.5 degrees Celsius), slightly mineralized, alkaline by reaction, hydrocarbon-sodium in composition, odorless and sediment-free. According to Kluff's qualification, mineral water qualifies as "very soft". Balneologically, water has a beneficial effect on: chronic and articular rheumatism, inflammatory diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system, genealogical diseases, chronic skin diseases, chronic diseases of the stomach and intestines.
The mineral water is used through baths and drinking - by medical prescription. In 1963 the town was declared a balneal resort. The public bath was built in 1934 on the project of architect Barov. Meanwhile, the municipality was ruled by The IMRO – Bulgarian National Movement with the mayor Toma Munin. The bath had a female and male pool and private baths. The second floor had a hair salon. On the back of the bath there was a public laundry, which was free of charge.
500 meters from Dobrinishte to Gotse Delchev near the road а silver mineral spring issues. The temperature of the water is between 30-40 degrees and is rich in silver ions. Clear, odorless and sediment-free water. Slightly mineralized. Silver has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action. Helps with: gastrointestinal diseases, neuralgia and sciatica, skin and eye diseases. By prescription.
A great attraction for the residents and guests of the town is the complex with mineral water "Alpha Spa". It has a large and small swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa and fitness center, outdoor playground, restaurant and cafe. You can visit it all year round.
